Model OH
Model
OH Pulling Grips, designed for the special demands of overhead stringing crews, has a basket constructed of triple woven nylon coated Aircraft Strand for
maximum abrasive resistance. It has special tough plastic boots at eye-end to prevent abrasion between the conductor and pulling dollies. A steel thimble is manufactured into the eye, and is
furnished without swivel or steel thimble upon request. It is easily adaptable to Lewis ball bearing swivels. Uncoated wire gives approximately 20% more strength. Please specify when ordering.
Model R is basically the same grip in size and basket construction
as the Model OH; however, it is somewhat shorter. This grip is employed in pulling all types of rope
Model WRC is primarily a high tension, overhead
transmission line-stringing grip. This series can be used for both Wire and Rope pulling. The WRC series incorporates a low-profile
with protective aluminum shoulders and high strength, enabling the user to pull through the narrowest of clearances with no hang-ups.
Always make a complete inspection of any grip before use. Immediately discard grip if any wires are frayed or broken and/or
there is distorted or damaged hardware.
