The new Lewis
Manufacturing HD-DBS Series sealed greaseable
swivels attach to back reamer bits and other connections for
cable, pipe, conduit and casing pullback operations. Lewis has five
models for different workload requirements: HD-4-DBS - 20,000#,
HD-5-DBS - 30,000#, HD-6-DBS - 50,000#, HD-7-DBS - 60,000# and
HD-8-DBS - 80,000#. Check the pullback rating on your machine and
select the swivel that will best meet your requirements.
Do not exceed the recommended swivel workloads
while pulling back. |

All Lewis directional boring swivels are supplied
with an easily removable bentonite-resistant pin system. |

Patented 2-stage sealing system with
debris expulsion and self-clearing wedge action!

Heat-treated hardened steel flange for
superior wear.

Triple roller bearing, thrust and
alignment system with Timken and Roller bearings for incidental
side loads.

Protected grease zerk for simultaneous
greasing, purging and cleaning of interior.

Clevis connection supplied with
bentonite resistant pin system. But will also accept standard
bolt/nut if preferred.

It is important that you read and
understand all breaking strength, safety and technical data
relating to all Lewis Manufacturing Company products before
use. Make a complete inspection of swivels before each use.
Do not alter or modify units. Make sure that the end pens
make up properly and Allen screw is in place. Rotate swivel
by hand to determine proper operation of bearings. Please
order carefully. Lubricate all grease able swivels before
and after each use. Do not exceed published working load on
any Lewis ball bearing swivel. |
