Use the tools to tie down ends of pulling grips and splicing grips for added security. Use a BAND-IT® tool and bands instead of tape. Taping is not reliable and can be a safety hazard especially in overhead high tension pulling applications. Also in many cases splicing grips are permanently installed and in these instances taping just won’t last and can be dangerous. Invest in a BAND-IT® tool and rest assured your cable will stay in place. The Thriftool requires a 1/2” socket or wrench, small hammer and cutting pliers while the Pok-it II requires only a small hammer. Both are easy to use. See a movie on using Pok-It model.
