Maxi-Grips are durable and economical tools designed for pulling underground pipe and cable with speed and ease. Maxi-Grips can be used for either VIBRATORY PLOWS OR DIRECTIONAL BORING applications.

Maxi Grips

Maxi-Grips consist of two primary components - a uniquely designed steel nose cone device and a heavy duty plastic coated galvanized steel mesh grip. Six models enable contractors to pull pipe and cable from 1/2 inch to 4 1/2 inch outside diameters.

Provides the contractor with greater flexibility, convenience and durability!

Unique nose cone design provides the user with several economic and time saving benefits not found in any other pulling device on the market today. First, each Maxi-Grip accommodates multiple sizes of pipe and cable, thereby minimizing contractor tooling costs. Second, the tapered nose cone provides a large, smooth compacted boring for pipe and cable to follow, thus reducing friction and allowing longer pulls. Also, the large boring eliminates cable "looping" when boring under walkways and driveways. Third, the nose cone design eliminates the need to seal pipe opening against outside contamination. The user merely slips the pipe into the nose cone and pulls the pipe - a real time saver. Fourth, since the mesh grips are mounted inside the nose cone, they last up to five times longer.

Maxi Grips E Series

When Directional Boring is the application, the Maxi-Grip E series is the tool of choice. There is no need for the conventional lost motion assembly while boring. Instead you need a solid attachment point and this series is just the ticket. The E series incorporates a solid eye which allows for direct attachment to the reamer head or any other pull back device.
